The Swedish organization Beredskapslyftet<\/strong>, together with the Charitable Organization Charitable Foundation \u201cKOLO\u201d<\/strong> and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute<\/strong> \/ KPI<\/strong> (Faculty of Biomedical Engineering), with the support of the Swedish Institute<\/strong>, will hold an online workshop-webinar dedicated to the development of occupational therapy and the modern rehabilitation system in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place within the framework of the international project CURIOUS (\u201cOccupational Therapy Without Borders\u201d)<\/strong>, which is being implemented to strengthen the Ukrainian rehabilitation system through the exchange of experience with Swedish partners, as well as the adaptation and implementation of international practices in the Ukrainian context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the workshop-webinar is to deepen understanding of the organization of rehabilitation and occupational therapy in Sweden, present the practical experience of Swedish specialists, discuss the possibility of applying this experience in Ukraine, and create a professional environment for further cooperation, particularly in the adaptation and validation of the international assessment tool MOHOST (Model of Human Occupation Screening Tool)<\/strong> in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 learn about the approaches to the organization and specific features of the occupational therapy and rehabilitation system in Sweden;
\u2014 learn more about the MOHO model and the use of the MOHOST diagnostic tool in Sweden;
\u2014 discuss the training of specialists and the development of the occupational therapy profession: Sweden vs. Ukraine;
\u2014 engage in professional networking with Ukrainian and Swedish experts in the field of occupational therapy and rehabilitation;
\u2014 find out how to join the professional community for the adaptation and validation of the international MOHOST tool in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special attention will be paid to the use of assessment tools, as well as to the practical aspects of adapting international experience to Ukrainian realities in the context of war and the growing need for rehabilitation services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants invited to attend include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 occupational therapists;
\u2014 occupational therapy assistants;
\u2014 physical therapists;
\u2014 physical therapy assistants;
\u2014 physical and rehabilitation medicine physicians;
\u2014 lecturers from specialized higher education institutions;
\u2014 academics and researchers in the fields of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and evidence-based medicine who have experience or interest in the adaptation or validation of international assessment tools;
\u2014 specialists involved in patient assessment and working in the field of rehabilitation;
\u2014 relevant NGOs and institutions that provide training and continuing professional development for occupational therapy specialists, including courses, postgraduate education centers, and similar organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
